SkyPark is a small amusement park about 20 minutes from the cabin. Activities include axe throwing, archery, mountain bike riding, rock climbing and more. There is a ton to do for kids. | |||
SkiingWe love to ski at Snow Valley, only 30 minutes from the house. Usually we stop at Blauer Ski and Board rental on the way to pick up skis. Renting on the mountain takes forever. | |||
The village is somewhat of a tourist trap but it does have some beautiful views of the lake and some pretty decent food. If you like shopping there are a ton of little stores. There is a playground area for the kids with bumper cars and mini golf as well. |  | ||
Beach ClubsLake Arrowhead has two excellent little beaches for water play in the Summer. Similar to the trails around Lake Arrowhead access is restricted to homes in the Lake Arrowhead woods and you must bring an ALA membership card from the junk drawer in the kitchen. Each card allows up to 5 people access to the lake. Note there is ongoing litigation that may affect access. If you plan to visit the ALA beaches or trails please let Paul know and he can give you any necessary info. |  | ||
Lake GregoryA 15 or 20 minute drive from the cabin, Lake Gregory offers a large selection of floating bounce houses and a pretty large beach for relaxing. |  |
